Summer Montage

When I reflect back on the summer I remember June being a busy month and all of the weekends this summer were filled with hiking and family time.  It was a great summer overall.

We celebrated our third anniversary by going out to a yummy dinner in Tabernash, near Winter Park.
I took Andrew to the zoo with my friend, Lindsey, and her son, Caden.  You can read more about it here.
Many of our hikes would end abruptly because the snow run-off took out bridges or 4W roads.  The mountains were hit with lots of huge spring snow storms and the run-off, usually ending mid-June, lasted well into July.
Sadie loved the snow we always encountered on the trails.
We tried to get Sadie to love swimming.  She loves water, but does not want to swim.  She is content with being able to touch the bottom of the river/lake.
We hiked to the top of Berthoud Pass, later finding out we went the long way.
We went on so many new hikes and we had a blast.  We went camping too, but that is another blog!  Many more exciting blogs to come...
